Interactive Elements

Fabrication Steel Powder Coat

Display pieces that had to do more than hold product — they had to take hands-on public use and hide the hardware inside. We welded steel plinths and powder-coated touchpoints built to survive a crowd.

Overview

Interactive physical elements for exhibition and retail environments, welded and finished in our San Francisco, California shop. The set combines steel plinths, powder-coated object blocks, and integrated hardware openings so each element can act as a tactile touchpoint rather than a passive display stand.

Fabrication Process

Steel components were cut, welded, ground, and finished for durable public interaction. Object blocks and interface openings were sized around the intended hardware, with cable routing and service access planned into the forms before finishing.
